There will be a Rutherford County NC Pre-K Committee Zoom Meeting on September 30th, 2022 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please contact Ausjanet Bayne at [email protected] for more information.
Rutherford County Schools honored the 53 educators, administrators and support staff who retired during the school year or who will retire at the end of the school year at the annual Retiree Banquet. The 53 retirees served a total of 1,273 years at Rutherford County Schools.
As a four or five STAR rated child care center or center with a temporary license in Rutherford County, you are invited to apply for approval to participate in the NC Pre-K Program in the future.
However, please be advised that additional funding for new sites may not be available for the 2022-2023 school year. Therefore, if your site is approved, you may be considered eligible to receive funding should the county receive additional NC Pre-K funds to expand NC Pre-K services in the future.
The information meeting will be held on September 14, 2022. Please RSVP to Ausjanet Bayne at [email protected] by September 12, 2022.
