Our goal is for every child enrolled in Preschool to:
  • Be linked to a medical doctor and dentist within 45 days of enrollment.
  • Be up-to-date on the Early Periodic Screening Diagnostic Tool schedule or well child check within 30 days of enrollment.
  • Be up-to-date on age appropriate immunizations within 30 days of enrollment.
  • Receive a dental exam within 90 days or prior to enrollment.
  • Receive recommended follow-up treatment for any identified health or dental concerns.

Please note that if your child does not have an up-to-date physical and immunization record on file within 30 days, he/she will not be admitted into the classroom until the proper documentation is obtained.

Dental Care

If your child is scheduled for dental surgery, please talk with your child’s teacher or family advocate to obtain a Consent for Medication to be Administered at School and/or a Special Diet form.  Most of the time when young children have extensive dental work it is very hard for them to eat and may experience a great deal of pain.  We can provide a special diet  and medication for them at school during their healing process.

Since most children are  start to heal within the first week, it is very important to have these forms on file  right after or prior to the surgery being completed.
